Canned laughter in sitcoms can be a bit polarizing. Some people find it annoying and artificial, while others see it as a traditional part of the sitcom format. Personally, I think that canned laughter can sometimes feel forced and can detract from the natural flow of the show. However, when used sparingly and appropriately, it can help to enhance the comedic timing and create a sense of shared laughter with the audience. Ultimately, it comes down to how it's used and whether it adds to the overall viewing experience. **

My favorite sitcom without a canned laughter audience is "The Office." I appreciate the show's dry humor, mockumentary style, and the way it portrays the mundane yet hilarious aspects of office life. The absence of a canned laughter track allows the jokes to land more naturally and lets the audience interpret the humor for themselves. The show's talented cast and clever writing make it a timeless and enjoyable watch. **

Canned laughter in TV shows can be both helpful and annoying. It can enhance the comedic timing of a show and cue the audience to laugh at certain jokes. However, it can also feel forced and artificial, taking away from the authenticity of the humor. Ultimately, it depends on the execution and the context in which it is used. When used sparingly and appropriately, canned laughter can add to the viewing experience, but when overused, it can become a distraction. **
